Toledo Bend Pictures

Will someone post some pictures for me if I can send them by text message? We just got back from toledo bend and had a blast. We had 2 sixes 2, over 5, 3 over four and a few 3 pounders. Plenty of keepers caught. We also caught 246 sac-a lait. We had 4 boats and we been there since Monday. From what we could tell it is getting close to the end of the spawn. Not many fish had eggs, and we turned all the big fish loose except for one that's getting mounted.

Go to Patroon. Launched next to the bridge but didn't go under it. Pass up the first point on your left and keep going straight to the next bank. There is a grass bed about 20 yards off the bank and runs about 300 yards. They were stacked all over it. Black and chartruse and and blue and white tube jigs under a cork about 2 feet down.

Used to catch them from the bank on jigs in January at TB. Hundreds of them. My favorite trip, friend and I "borrowed" an unused houseboat tied to a pier for three days one Jan, stopped counting at 120.

We caught them just about every cast, Wasn't many small ones either. Can"t wait for our trip next year.
