Online shopping: Who doesn't use it/barely uses it?

This a spinoff from the mall thread.
Be honest, though.
I actually have not bought anything online in 2- 3 years. I really don't care to do it for most things I buy. My wife buys something online 5-7 times a year, though. Usually she is disappointed when she receives most of these items (clothes, shoes...).
I would rather go to the store to buy what I need/want. I like the process. I do stay out of trashy establishments, though! I have not been in a Walmart in more than 3 years. I try to choose stores where I know the trash will be at a minimum. Sometimes that doesn't work out though!!!
Anyway....back to online shopping.

spent 14.83 last night online for a couple/3 oddball parts for my lawn mower.
that's including shipping, when i called the local store and added up the same 3 parts it was $20 or so bucks.
but anyway, i like to get unique gifts for the women folk online.

I'm the opposite. Had bad luck with clothes and shoes online. Gotta try them on first.

Most places have free returns so you can try on and send back. When I find something I like I just keep buying it until it's no longer available. Like slacks, I have a dozen of the same pair in different colors

Same here. I'm hard to fit and have to try clothes on (usually need to have alterations done too). I hate the idea of having waste time shipping stuff back.

Not much. I mostly buy online for things I can't find in person. Obscure books, collectibles, etc.

I probably have a half dozen of the same thing, but I'll wear them forever. I buy clothes maybe once every two years or so, outside the occasional shirt.

I don't mind shopping, I do a lot of socializing with people I haven't seen in a while. I just hate spending money. I'm thrifty as hell.
