It's a lot different than football. 
The "early Spring" signing period is a month long starting in a couple of days I believe...
They can also sign during the summer. Most JUCO recruits don't sign till the summer and start school immediately.

He hasn't been able to take a single official visit yet. He came to the LSU vs UK game, but didn't get to tour the facilities, meet with coaches and administration, or really get the treatment. He needs to look at his options firsthand.

With the mass exodus at UK, LSU is really going to have to fight to land this guy. I hope we can land him.

Around mid May this next signing period ends then it is wherever he enrolls for the fall semester if he does not sign by then.

I'm sure Malik didn't get anything near the normal wine and dine treatment on his unofficial for the UK game. But I saw him with my on eyes at Walkons with David Patrick before the game. So we did get to put in some work with him on that trip.

That was my thought as well.
He added several predictions yesterday, mostly on players thought to be waiting to see who was leaving from UK.
He added:
Kasongo to MSU
Zimmerman to UK
Newman to LSU
Jaylen Brown to UCLA
Swanigan to Cal
Maker to KU
Diallo to Louisville
Rabb to Cal
