Oddly enough, they kept beating the dude because he was "resisting" by protecting himself from being beaten

If only helicopters made any noise. The deputies would have seen the news helicopter filming them and known not to give the criminal a good old fashioned country arse-whipping, therby saving the taxpayers $650k.
Also, if they had video of a normal group of civilians beating someone like this, would they have been arrested already? How many weeks does the video need to be reviewed?
Props to the black deputy with the shaved head that stood back, looking to see if help was needed and not beating the criminal.

My initial thought is to agree with you. I also have to think that this criminal is going to jail for a while. His attorney fees take a third, or more.
He also has a girlfriend that is caring for him and commenting in different articles. While he is in prison, her and her new boyfriend will spend the rest. He will get out of prison and have enough for a Happy meal.

The majority of the OT, in the past, has stated that as long as you obey the law OR comply with LEOs, then this type of violence will not happen.
So this guy, regardless of the video, must have fought back and not comply with the LEOs; therefore he got what he deserved. /sarcasm
Funny how opinions change, with many, depending on the ..... situation.

Well he did run from the police...so he wasn't obeying or complying. It seems that one of the recurring themes is you run from the police, something bad isg oing to happen to you. Just saying.
Not that I agree with how much they kicked his arse after he was subdued and flat on the ground. It seems like they were frustrated about having to chase him down and were taking it out on him. Pretty crazy.
