Pearl isn't ready yet...plenty of other places to try...you just gotta do some testing...

I've been seeing some guys running traps along Hwy 11 in the swampy areas on side the road about a half mile before you get to chef hwy (coming from Irish Bayou).

We tried there for a couple of years...maybe at the wrong times...who knows...
There is some places I've been that are fresh water land locked inside the protection levees, that I haven't been in a long while...question is if I can still "legally" get to those areas with as little effort as possible...ie get the truck as close as possible to the area without green jeans having a problem with it...

Saw someone stopped at the ditches under the Oak Harbor/I-10 overpass the other day. I know they were catching them there last year too. A buddy of mine caught some there.
