there was some talk that Simmons wouldn't get it because he wasn't born there, and it had never gone to player that was foreign born or some shite like that.

I figured it also had to do with montverde not competing in the Florida athletic association and playing so many games out of state, but just speculating. Either way great for tone.

No. I have no idea really. This kid's recruiting has been all over the place. Absolutely nothing would surprise me at this point. Hell, I am actually leaning a little back to LSU. Gumby has me pretty convinced.

He's not from S.C. Born in New York raised in Sarasota(Fla) from about age 2.

It looks like he participated in the Peach Jam that was in North Augusta last year. Maybe that is where Gumby got that. I thought it seemed off, because in his videos, Blakeney talks about growing up in his Florida town.
