Boat stereo question

I have two nice, functioning speakers in my bay boat but my head unit went out after 6 years. For the past few years I have only been using my IPhone plugged into my head unit as my music source. If all I would like to do is buy something to push my IPhone music through my two speakers, what would the OB recommend? I don't need am/fm or CD. I could get something to dock my iPhone in but I don't have a lot of extra room on my dash for something like that. Thanks.

motorcycle amp. no joke, they are like $40 bucks on ebay. I used one with 2 marine 6x9 speakers run off a lawn mower battery to make a ice chest stereo. just plug iphone in and its louder than i ever want
look up mitzu motorcycle amp on ebay, under $40 actually. Comes with all the cabels and everything! iphone plugs right in

You could wire a headphone jack to an amp input and go from phone --> amp.
Honestly it would cost about the same as a cheap headunit though. If just replace it with $200 headunit
Eta- or go the motorcycle amp route. Just don't know that I would trust that in a marine environment

Any amp, use a 12V bluetooth dongle for input.

yes or you could add a gain control inline but the phone would be your source and primary volume control.

Amp to bluetooth is very nice. Put a gain knob for volume will be a big + for quick volume change.
I use a jbl deck , jbl amp and kicker speakers

I highly recommend this head unit Kenwood KMRM308BT
I have it in my bay boat. It can run pandora or anything else off your phone via blue tooth or you can even set it up for satelite radio.
I usually turn on pandora on my phone and throw the phone in my glove box. Also if someone calls me the phone will ring through the speakers which helps if someone needs me or one of my friends have found some fish
