my sister-in-law's sister went into modeling after college graduation and her dad paid for half as a present. It wasn't just a lift, it was like porn star level work.
so we like to say he paid for one and her (now ex) husband paid for the other.

Back at LSU, I dated a girl who had gotten implants for her graduation....so parents have been doing that for at least 10 years.
They felt quite nice, BTW. I prefer natural though.

My dad gave me stock as well; 100 shares of Microsoft in 1987. My brother had his rather hefty bail from some serious felony charges paid for his.
