Doing my first ER shift this weekend, Lithium. They average less than 1000 visits a month so it shouldn't be bad. Feel much more comfortable after doing ATLS a couple of weeks ago.

And for the person saying nurses make a big deal about nurse's week...not true. The hospitals try to make a big deal out of it. Most nurses don't really care(working nights I never know when it is since all the free shite is given out on day shift anyways).As if giving us a free coffee mug with the hospital logo on it and a free breakfast and/or ice cream sandwich one day makes up for treating us like crap the rest of the year.

And Dr Dale Good luck. FWIW Trauma is easy. The female with belly pain at 4 am is a different story
