Where do you swap your propane tanks out?

I read on here the other day someone saying that a lot of the Walgreens/CVS etc. places don't always give you a full tank, and I think they recommended hardware stores for propane refills. So, where do you get your propane at? I'm in Walker, so Walker / Denham Springs recommendations would be best.

I always get mine refilled. I have three that I rotate so I always have at least one completely full.

For thibodaux I get it refilled at Gus's on canal. Charge you by the gallon too. None of that flat price shite.

If you're swapping out tanks, you're throwing away money. Refilling is the only option I consider.

I refill at a u-haul place...though mainly because it is closer than any of the swap-out places. Honestly, I am not gonna get all stressed out and drive all over town over $3 worth of propane...

an old lady has a bug propane tank in her front yard. Lives on Arnold road near the hwy 16 side. $15. Actually a legit operation.

How long have you been wasting $$$?

Can't believe people don't do simple math and realize 2.10/gallon (my current local price) at 5 gallons is 10.50 vs 19.99 to swap is a terrible deal.

I've swapped tanks out maybe twice. I just got my boiling rig last year and before that had only recently switched from charcoal grilling to gas grilling.

Yeah, those companies are making a killing.

You can buy one filled and that isn't a bad price. They get you on the swapping....and get you good.

That's the only reason one should swap.

The only reason I like those things. Get a brand new tank when you need one and tear the wrapper off of it.
