we got DX vs. nWo... obviously DX helping HHH and (oddly) nWo helping Sting
but in the end HHH hit Sting w/ the sledge hammer remains as Sting was going for a 2nd Stinger Splash and that's what got the W
ETA: and HHH & Sting shook hands after the match ended

I just want to know what in the hell they plan on doing with the US title now.. Obviously Cena is far too over as the face of the company to meddle around at the bottom of the barrel while holding onto the US title. Only problem is, over the past several years we have seen "Super Cena" destroy anyone and everyone in his path to get whatever he wanted. He's this generation's version of Hulk Hogan if you will. How can they possibly book Cena in a loss to someone who should legit be holding the US title? It would have to be a surprise upset sort of thing with no continuing feud.
Furthermore, what can they do with Rusev to keep him around? Rusev to me is another Ryback, etc. A "monster" who goes on a massive win streak and then once he loses he just sort of fizzles out and becomes nothing. He's not good on the mic, and surely Lana won't be by his side forever. It will be interesting for sure to say the least. I am definitely excited for Raw tomorrow night to see what unfolds from tonight's event. I wonder if Sting makes another appearance, or if they have him written off for a while.

Well I think they'll use Cena to elevate the U.S. Title to where it wouldn't be a joke for some more upper echelon guys to challenge for it
That, or they will let Cena and Rusev continue to fued over it (hopefully by ultimately putting over Rusev) and the title gains whatever prestige it can from Cena holding it

just so we're clear... that's at least 2 straight years where neither the defending WWEWHC or the RR winner walked out of 'Mania w/ the WWEWHC title

Considering the shitty build, that was a damn good show.

After reading thru some of this thread I wish I had ordered it. The buildup to Wrestlemania was shitty and made me not want to get it this year....

question... i read the recap of the main event... why, when Rollins cashes in his money in the bank, do they start a triple threat match with Lesnar and Reigns? I don't get that
when Rollins cashes in it should have been Rollins vs. Lesnar since he was the champ and Reigns should have been screwed

Lol canceling out Roman (who earned his shot at rumble) would of been horible and made even less sense. Triple threat was the right and logical thing to do.

That last spear on Lesner while he had Rollins in the f5 set up was awesome!

Because the Money in the bank winner can cash in at any time any place within a year, and he decided to make the match a triple threat match. It was totally legal.

RIP Seth Rollins when Lesnar gets a hold of him after losing the title without being pinned...

The main event was brutal. Reigns and Lesnar were really stiff

I'm just so sick and tired of wrestler 'X' getting absolutely destroyed and dumptrucked, only t oeat a fricking sensu bean at the end of the match and go on a tear to win it.
Main event is a good example of that. Lesnar put a beating on Reigns that was almost unlike anything I've seen in a long long time. Reigns was making retard faces through the latter part of the match, then all of a sudden out of nowhere, they completely trade places in a matter of a minute. Lesnar can barely stand up and Reigns is raining down superman punches like fricking mortar shells falling from the sky.
frick that. After the first 10 minutes of that match, they should have a hospital room mocked up at the WWE studios where Reigns is wearing a fricking helmet licking the windows.

I thought it was just the opposite. We did see this exact match fairly recently (Cena vs Lesnar). German suplexes ad nauseum, early F5, etc... it was almost exactly the same match. It was boring and stale then, and it was again now.
