Should I be worried about Foster? After his last two homers he has gone with the some pretty excessive bat flips. I'm worried someone is gonna realize it, not like it a whole lot and he's gonna take a ball to the ribs.

Let him take a ball to the ribs then, who cares?

Yea SEC should suspend him.
I mean can you imagine flipping a bat after hitting the ball 430+ feet?
The nerve.
It's probably some gang sign.

Dumbest "unwritten" rule ever.

Foster, keep flipping the frick out of the bat. Balance it on your nose as you round the bases for all I care.

I hope he gets to flip it 10 more times this year.

Why does anyone interpret bat-flippin' as an insult? Where did this silliness originate from? As long as a team is celebrating with their teammates and fans what's the deal?

If you don't bat flip after a dinger it doesn't count

after his next HR i'd like to see him bend the bat in half. He's got the flip down pretty good.

i love when guys do their thing after hitting home runs... the thing is though, when you do it, it has to go out. if you bat flip and it's caught at the wall, you go on the not top 10 on Sportscenter

As a former college player i understand the bat flip. He's celebrating and also trying to get his team pumped up. However if he does it at an unnecessary time like when we have a big lead, as a former catcher i would expect him to catch one in the ribs.

The more he does it the more likely it'll be that hell piss someone off. I'm still for it in the past two situations though

If a pitcher feels he'd rather put one in his ribs rather than pitch to him then that's what he'll do... That just means he's already in the pitchers head
