I would not be shocked at all if he could throw 93-94 mph. Have you seen him throw a football? He has elite arm strength

No they dont. If they had perfect mechanics they'd be pitchers, dumbass.

ETA: Tim Lincecum used to throw over 95 and he had shite mechanics. youre making your self look dumb.

Most third basemen playing D1 are right at 90 if not above.

I've had a unique opportunity to stand next to him in plain clothes throwing at a kids' football camp. He snapped off 40 yd bombs to Dupre with such ease. Watching Dupre cock back and put his all in the return throw was a good indication of what's normal and what's elite.

I say yes. He can do it.

Why are you trying to talk about baseball if you've obviously never played it and know nothing about it? Tim Lincecum had unorthodox mechanics that were still flawless first of all. "Different" doesn't equal shitty. And second, infielders throw just as much as pitchers and work on their throwing mechanics almost as much too. Please gtfo and stop pretending that you know what you're talking about, you don't even have a basic understanding of how baseball players practice or what they work on but you're an expert, right?

Youre the one proving to be a dumbass. Not all infielders have perfect mechanics dumbass. You dont have to have perfect mechanics to throw 90.

I clearly know more than you. 2 other posters have agreed with me. Just stop while youre behind.

Of course better mechanics help your velocity but you dont have to have perfect mechanics to throw 90.

YOURE WRONG. HERE IS A LINK SHOWING STRASBURG'S BAD MECHANICS

Strasburg throws well over 90 with bad mechanics.

How do you even remember to breathe? I could give a frick if the entire tiger rant agrees with you, this place is a complete retard fest. Please video yourself throwing then look at Steven strasburg and tell me how his mechanics are afterward you fricking jackass. Just because strasburg has an EXTREMELY slight mechanical flaw but everything else is perfect doesn't mean that his mechanics are bad. You have no idea what you're talking about, end of discussion. Ever noticed how every infielder looks the same exact way fielding a ball then throwing it to first? Yea, they work on that and are technically flawless. Stop trying to talk to me about a sport that I actually know something about and go mouth breathe in another thread moron. Harris can not throw 90+ unless he previously played baseball, get over it

Then its not perfect you dumb frick. Good god youre stupid.

I given proof that pitchers with bad mechanics throw 90. You've given me nothing but ignorant opinion

I'd be willing to bet all the money I have that he could throw low to mid 90's with little to no practice

I'm not sure I follow.

You do not have have perfect mechanics to throw 90+. Catchers do it all the time and have a completely different throwing motion than any other position player. They throw from the ear with a motion much like QB's. I do not know if Harris can throw 90+, but to talk in absolutes when you obviously can't know for sure is ignorant.

Natural born talent lets you throw 90+ moreso than mechanics.

It's like speed. You either have it or you don't. You can improve it with training, but you'll never make a slow guy fast or a weak arm strong.

I'd bet Brandon Harris can hit 90. His arm strength is elite.

Lots of people can throw 90+, it's about sustaining that and doing it accurately that makes a pitcher great. (And obviously other pitches)
