Kobe would be fine with passing the torch to Westbrook unlike how he was with Howard.
When Kobe was on Simmons' show a couple of weeks ago, he went on and on about how great he thinks Westbrook is and said something along the lines of "He reminds me of myself more than anyone else in the league with his intensity, aggressiveness and desire to win". I've never heard Kobe brag that much about another current NBA player
And if the Lakers front office had a real shot to nab Westbrook and Love, they would do it in a heartbeat without even considering Kobe's feelings imo.
