Fed Gov will make them divest something before approving . Ecolab was drug thru the mud when they went to merge Champion and Nalco in 2012-2013.

For others in the industry and ppl in the know, was this just a market share move to help battle SLB and corner the NA/shale plays? Most m&a on the service side are to acquire a new technology/tool in a particular service. Was there a certain division that HAL wanted of BHIs? I know baker has some top of the line drilling motors and tools.
