at the Manship Theatre. Got my tickets. First time seeing him live and first time at this venue. Anybody going or been to this place before?

such a great venue. articulate, clear sound and awesome sight lines. very intimate setting to catch a show.

Sweet, got a babysitter, taking the wife to Tsunami for dinner before the show. Should be a good night. Do they sell beverages at the show? I know its more like a theatre style, not your typical bar scene.

Hayes Carll is the shite. Amazing songwriter as well. I see him all the time here in Austin. Kmag Yoyo 
I heard from someone that has been to both that Manship's Accoustics are compared to Moody Theater(ACL Live) in Austin. That is strong if that is true.

not in the theatre because it would be too noisy. right outside of the theatre (still in the shaw center) there is a bar

I know what you like monsterballads. You have to see Hayes. remember the show I told you about at Gruene Hall back in Dec? it was him. great singer/songerwriter. some of the critics compare him to Townes Van Zandt.

Hayes is great. Knew him in college and detassled corn with him in summer in Iowa.

I even named my son Hayes. Somewhat after Hayes Carll. Mention it to my wife one day talking about names and she loved it. Looking forward to the show. He's definitely got a unique voice and style.
