To make matters worse, TMZ Sports claims an NFL scout at the veteran’s combine was concerned about Sam’s attitude.
“He thinks he’s a superstar,” the scout reportedly told TMZ Sports. “It would be nice if he could do something on the field to back up the attitude.”

I think everyone needs to get together and just decide that an active pro athlete still hasn't come out of the closet yet, just like we did with John Amaechi. That way we can live this whole thing over again

Unfortunately for him, he's not good enough for the league and it seems like he's a bit of a diva.
I still remember one of the ESPN New York guys saying he could be a special teamer, because if he made a tackle it would pump the whole stadium up. Stuff like that doesn't help anyone, much less someone who is not physically gifted enough to play special teams.
