Anybody know of any deer hunting clubs in Saint Tammany or Washington Parish with possible openings?

Unless you bring a lot to the table, hunting clubs tend to be weird about outsiders I've noticed.

Lil' Creek in Albany is always posting ads for members in LA Sportsman, and Bayou Bucks.

Not going to find anything worth a shite I this area. I have heard money hill has turned a corner and is starting to get better but not sure. Best hunting in STT is in and behind the neighborhoods.

For good reason. I live in Albany and trust me the deer population in that area isn't exactly flourishing

I believe u. I live off 190 right by the interstate in a subdivision, and see deer all the time.

Money Hill is locked in for the foreseeable future.

I grew up in Bogalusa. Around STP and Washington you really have to know people to find an opening. There is some really great land along the Bogue Chitto, but if you aren't from Bogalusa/Franklinton/Bush or know someone very well, you don't have much of a shot at getting in. Money Hill was probably the most forthcoming in allowing "outsiders" in, but that changed last year when they locked in. Moser Hill also used to let people in, but I haven't talked with anybody over there in a few years. Your best bet is to look west, or try to find a smaller piece of property that you can lease by yourself or with a friend.

Disclaimer: I don't know much about clubs or land in Abita. I know of several clubs out that way, but I'm not really sure how they do things.

Probably so.

You talking about that big lease on Swamp Rd. in Isabel? As far as I know, yeah. Realistically that's the same patch of woods that Mosher Hill has. Only a couple miles as the crow flies. There are some monsters back in that area. Season before last an absolute monster 9pt was killed in Mosher.

@OP - some of the best public land hunting in the state can be found in the Bogue Chitto Refuge. The problem there is it's also some of the hardest. A guy I know kills at least one really nice deer in the refuge every year.
