Temple beat them earlier at home, but they shot 49 free throws. Holy frick that's a shite load of free throws.

LA Tech's big guys bite on every pump fake, coupled with the fact the young inexperienced guards did not know how to play defense without hand checking.
ETA: In the first game of the season against Southern, the Jags shot 30 free throws. Step up the competition with a big Temple team and you can see how it happens.

How many players fouled out against Temple? 49 ft's = shooting fouls. They didn't get to the line on every foul.

Speedy and Hamilton fouled out. Stapleton and Appleby both had four. Boykins and McCree each had three. Kyser had two fouls that he picked up early and that was it.
Joniah had two fouls in seven minutes. Merrill, who has become the go to replacement for Kyser off the bench only played six minutes and did not pick up a foul.
