I love basketball. Everything from 1st graders playing what seems to be 1 on 5 to the seniors league. But over the last few years the NBA has just pushed itself so much further than the college league, the NCAA tournament is like eating garnish and the NBA playoffs and Finals are like the steak. Even college football is still great compared to the NFL.

Has nothing on hockey. Let me know when an 8 seed wins a championship.

Nobody was even talking about hockey though

For the record, I like both sports nothing beats the theater of the two league's postseason tournaments.

Nothing says "greatness" like the 15th or 16th best team in the league winning a championship.

NBA playoffs are my favorite time of year.

The game is so fun to watch and this year, is shaping up for some incredibly exciting intriguing matchups right from the get go. The talent level is insane right now, there isn't a clear-cut expereinced favorite like Miami or SA of years past.

Anyone can come out of the West. East has some potential cool matchups (mia-cle), and 3-4 teams who have a legit shot at winning the conference imo.

Gonna be a great playoffs.

The NBA playoffs are way too fricking long. A 2 month playoff!? Jesus. The first two rounds need to be best of 5 with the conference finals and finals being best of 7. and play some back to backs.

So true! Who isn't excited about a potential Raptors/Bucks first round matchup?

So much better than watching the raw emotion of kids playing their hearts out for their respective schools. Save your one point buzzer beaters in March, I'd much rather see the third game of a Pacers/Hawks series!
