Only 36 colleges in the country are still playing basketball, 3 are from Louisiana

The NIT is something to be proud of if you have a young team or an up and coming program. The CBI and the CIT, well, I can't even spin those in a positive direction. They are terrible.

Really would have liked this Tech group to have made the big dance once. They could have made some noise.

I root for all Louisiana schools to have as much basketball success as possible. I'm glad ULM & ULL are playing in "shitty" tournaments. At least they are winning games in them.

I'd like basketball's popularity to increase state wide and hopefully more games with more wins helps to do that.

Kyser, Stapleton and Hamilton would have put on twice the show Florida Gulf Coast did with their high flying alley oops.

Not really. I mean I hope all Louisiana teams do well, but it isn't as if anyone remembers the CBI winner.
