Cable modem is in one room. Computer with router in room next to it basically.

Internet works great while playing games online or streaming. The last couple days though it will start lagging really bad after about 30 min to an hour.

What's happening here? I have charter Internet. Are they throttling me?

Well technically its a couple rooms down. Across hall.

In that room because it's more center of home

Ok..It looked like someone else was trying to get this out of you too...

Depending on the age of your router, you may just need to upgrade..

What do you use now

I'll double check at lunch but I think it's a Belkin N300

Looks exactly like that and I think I paid around 50$ for it

Try this

or this..

there is a ton of information in these, and plenty of others..N-300 is still a good baseline, but perhaps just using different frequencies would free up some of your congestion issues
