Has anyone asked for/received an extension on a ticket in ebr?

I received a ticket for my insp sticker. I had let it go for a couple months. Anyway, does anyone know if I can request an extension via the phone? I might be out of town...and I would honestly like to not pay the extra fee to pay it online.

I have the money! I might go out of town this week. The fee is $8. I hate to throw away more money than I already have for not changing my inspection sticker sooner. Geez...
