His movies are flat out awful and is not funny at all.

I think Hart's standup is pretty good. Especially liked his first couple of specials, didn't care for the newest one as much.
Off the top of my head, a few guys I find funnier are Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Bill Burr, and Louis CK.
As other's have said, Hart's movies are awful. Which, I believe, is where this thread is aimed. But you called him the funniest man of your generation.

In the sake of fairness, it's Kind of lazy to name Chappelle and Chris Rock when they haven't been relevant in 10 years or more as comedians.

Just because they aren't mainstream doesn't mean they aren't out there performing. I saw Chappelle in Atlanta a couple summers ago and it was great. I'll concede on Rock though since I guess I haven't technically seen anything new from him for 5 years or so.
