Home field advantage was HUGE tonight. Encourage everyone to attend if possible. 29-1 now.

2,082 tonight. Need to pack the park even more tomorrow.

The crowd was decent tonight. I love all the shite our players yell at the opposing pitcher.

No it wasn't. It was like a neutral site game. Very quiet the whole time up until OU's last at bat. You can't change fact on some crazy whim. Even the broadcast people were talking about how LSU shot it's wad against Florida and how the exuberance from the dugout and fans was non-existent tonight.

They said nothing even remotely like that.

I can keep going if you'd like. Obviously the players and coaches feel otherwise. To the people who think they made a difference......you did.

Again, game is at 4pm. I'm sure the NUMBER ONE team in the nation would love to have another crowd like last night.

Yes. I heard them talking about the crowd being quiet and the low energy in the LSU dugout.

After the homerun, the announcers commented on how the crowd was suddenly into the game.

As the game went on the fans did get more into it . We tried to get going earlier but they kept playing music over the PA at the wrong times and too loudly and it killed the cheers. I guarantee you though that the girls were happy the game was played in the friendly confines of Tiger Park in front of 2000+ fans.

No doubt. The crowd, as far as numbers, looked good. I remember the announcers talking about the energy level because I was thinking the same thing right before they started talking about it.

The camera crew did an excellent job of making the announcers point. They showed two guys sitting on the berm. The one on the left was just staring at the ground in front of him. I think if the camera had stayed on him a little longer we would have seen him topple over, asleep from boredom.

It's raining in Houston right now and I think it is supposed to continue all day. Hopefully, the weather in BR is better and LSU softball will be able to get another win today.
