If you can't sympathize with this team, and this kid, you have no soul. We all know how painful this loss was, and everyone has their own opinion on the reasons, but the players understand everything. They know how the fans feel, and you can be damn sure they read the rant.

I appreciate everything Mickey has done this year. I wish nothing but the best for this kid.

Around 46 second mark

Fans think playing and coaching is easy, but it's not.

that is tough to watch. We don't make the tourny without him. He had a bad day, but he has many great days ahead of him. Hope those ripping him on here watch this.

I agree. I was at the gym this AM, and there were a couple guys that were ripping Mickey apart. Saying he single handedly lost the game. I don't normally like to get into conversation, but I had to speak up. This was a team loss, and that Mickey was one of the reasons we were there in the first place. Fans are quick to judge....especially the bandwagoners

Mickey was bad. Mickey has loafed for a month straight. The Tennessee game was one of the most "i dont want to be here" games ive ever seen.

Mickey wasnt good last night, especially late. But he played hard. I can't be upset with him over last night's performance. He played his heart out, he just didnt have it. The month prior was much more unforgiveable.

That was hard to watch. And I feel for him, I really do. But it doesn't change the fact that his performance down the stretch lost the game

LSU has looked like an extremely talented freshman team all season. This seems to be the future of LSU basketball with the NBA draft rules the way they are.

Feel for him. Nobody feels worse than the players.

Mickey had 12 pts, 14 reb, and 6 blocks while playing injured. How can you call that bad?

You're an idiot. He didn't lose the game for us. The team lost the game. Yes, he didn't perform when it counted, but to say he is the reason we lost is just stupid. I can point out other players for not performing at specific moments too. It works both ways

Does it? Because I only remember Mickey going 0-4 at the line.

I guess he was more bad late than early. But all of his post moves were just off. He didnt have it.

But if you are harping on that part of the post you missed the entire point entirely.

That's why others needed to step up. Sure, he struggled at the end but M & M carried this team all year. We are sub .500 without them.
