New Death Grips streaming

Death Grips, in their usual iconoclastic fashion, silently dropped a free stream of a new album. This band has tried my patience in the past, specifically when they screw jobbed their fans with the fake show where they played a movie instead of showing up... but I'm liking this album. Has a more instrumental feel than past ones.

I'm just hearing this album, but I'm enjoying it so far. So little hip hop/rap actually has original music these days. Most of it is basically just shitty rhyming over generic beats. This and Medieval Knights are trying to make me a rap fan again.

In a totally different vein of fresh rap (which you might not like because it isn't hard like Death Grips), check out the Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment Album called Surf. Full album here.
