After watching that interview after the game and how emotional he was I fully expect him to come back and enter beast mode next year.

It was pretty pathetic last night with all the posters that WANTED Mickey to leave. I hope people were just caught up in the moment

Last night was probably the first game most fans saw all year. Half of them probably don't know who Mickey is. Sad fanbase is sad

I agree. I think one thing that was a big factor is this team is very young + big dance. I was expecting the halves to be reversed where they settled into a rythem in the second and not come out all dunk city.

Everybody should come back and with the freshman class coming in, why not challenge for an undefeated season.

One can dream

If Mickey comes back and we get Newman, this team will be ranked Top 10 to open the season. Imagine that!

Jarell played poorly in the second half too. He missed some layups he should've absolutely hit. The team was overwhelmed, that much was clear. I hope the players and coaches use this game as a learning experience moving forward.

Biggest thing against Martin is settling for pull up mid range jumpers

No video but there are some quotes in this piece went up an hour ago (along with quotes from TQ, Hornsby and Jarell):

Edit -- there's some locker room video here

Really just gutted for the guys, they gave it all they had.

Both guys need to come back. At this point, i don't see either as n.b.a. players. Is martin athletic and have potential? yes. However, he does not have a good outside shot and he doesn't have a post move. He's an athletic big who can run the floor on breaks and get baskets that way. He is also very soft on defense.

Mickey is another big that has a decent, not great face the basket mid range shot. yes he blocks shots in college but will not in the pros. he's a 4 and 4's are bigger than him at the n.b.a. level. he does not have a post game either. he doesn't know how to post a guy up and he doesn't know how to drop step.

At this point i see martin getting drafted, bounce around as a bench player for few years and then out of ball. (t. thomas style) Mickey, i don't see getting drafted unless he develops a better shot and more of post game.

That sucks for them, but we all knew this wasnt our year to win it all. Next year is definitely our best chance to win in a long time.

Hopefully martin and Mickey come back.

Newman
Hornsby
Simmons
Martin
Mickey

Quarterman
Patterson
Blakeney
Epps
Gray
Robinson
Victor

Damn that interview is rough. Tough for any player to go through what Mickey is right now

Everybody was. I hope they both come back but Martin is probably gone. With what we have coming in, we could REALLY use his defense next season. I hope he proves himself and gets his name back in nba draft talk.

Honestly, I don't see any way quarterman doesn't start. He has become so fricking good. He looks like a true point now. Great Passer!

Blakeney is much better than Hornsby. I love Hornsby, but he's just a spot shooter. Blakeney can create his own shot, and take over a game.

If he is smart for his own good, otherwise, even if he is drafted he won't last in NBA.
