No. They're scrapping their continuity.

Link? Not that I don't believe you but you shouldn't throw this out without one.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. But it might have been before this was all a global thing.

It was stated in the link I posted. They didn't show the link though.

RDJ

"The Dark Knight". "My whole thing is that that I saw 'The Dark Knight'. I feel like I'm dumb because I feel like I don't get how many things that are so smart. It's like a Ferrari engine of storytelling and script writing and I'm like, 'That's not my idea of what I want to see in a movie.' I loved 'The Prestige' but didn't understand 'The Dark Knight'. Didn't get it, still can't tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character and in the end they need him to be a bad guy. I'm like, 'I get it. This is so high brow and so f--king smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie.' You know what? F-ck DC comics. That's all I have to say and that's where I'm really coming from."

Those in charge of DC movies don't really seem to embrace the face that it's based off a comic book, granted MoS was basically the 1st of this universe so we'll see.

Those in charge of DC TV seem to be the exact opposite and embrace the comic book material.

1) I seriously doubt this dude has ever read a comic book.

2) He's aquaman.

3) Marvel Movie Universe >>>>>>>>>>>>> DC Movie Universe

4-100) He's Aquaman.

I just browed it looking for Momoa's quote, didn't even see this good call.

Either person saying this is fairly childish, but it's good marketing.

Marvel actors have been making headlines for visiting sick kids.

Meanwhile this unproven cog in the unproven DC cinematic universe is doing this.

Still one of the most powerful superheroes there is in the DC universe. He controls the 7 seas which is 75% of the world, can manipulate any and all sea faring creatures from huge whales and giant octopuses to the some random fish and seaworm and can bring a tidal wave on any given target that's close to any sizable body of water.

He has an 800 ton feat, and very consistent 500 plus ton feats. His Trident can control all weather and water to create powerful hurricanes and super floods. He can also utilize his Trident to generate powerful blasts of lightning and energy. He can even use it to manipulate matter itself. His TP can near instantly give anyone a seizure, meaning even high tier beings are completely vulnerable. He has withstood falls from space, and taken hits from Superman to Wonder Woman. When he has his water hand he can automatically dehydrate his opponents. He can also create portals to anywhere on the planet, as well as utilize powerful magic to decimate opponents.

He's no joke.

I want to love Marvel and DC equally but DC keeps making it difficult.

DC and Jason Mamoa are billions of dollars behind where they need to be before trying to create a "rivalry" with Marvel when it comes to movies over the last 20 years.

It's like the fictional "rivalry" other Louisiana schools think they have with LSU in football.

If you don't think that DC and Marvel are rivals, you're on the wrong planet.

They're rivals in everything that they do, movies included.

Rivalries start to wane when they become more and more one sided.

It doesn't matter which sports LSU and Alabama are dominating each other in, they're still rivals.

And when you're talking about an industry that has had only two consistently dominant companies for 55 years, they're going to be rivals.
