It's been thirty years, so yes, it's time...

A rendering of what it will look like:

Good, now just stop showcasing groups like Florida Georgia Line and Nickelback in that building.

Yep, it's a multii-use facility, alright. So the lower seating is retractable.
Apparently that concept baffles your little mind?

No, keep showcasing the kind of shows that Laf can support. They love trashy psuedo-country about beer drinking and girl chasing.

Well this guy doesn't.

Elton John = Awesome
Nickelback, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan = GTFO

But I guess thats what makes money. Although I don't know a single person that actually listens to Nickelback. The Nashville pop shite is a different story, and that seems to be popular everywhere because a lot of people have shitty taste.

It must be sad to feel you have to make fun of people in every thread you post in

I have always wondered if they were going to try and put some suites in there and how'd they do that. Looks good from the rendering.

Now maybe they can get better concerts there.

ULL has a better arena than LSU.

Bon appetite.

I don't know why don't you tell us? You have to hate on any thread about UL, so surely you would be the one who would know best about that. ....but guess that doesn't count in your world.

I like that it finally wraps the lower level seating around the entire court...hopefully bringing the crowd in closer. And also hopefully: build it and they will come, lol

so they are doing the renovations for sure? Who is paying for this? LCG? Because UL doesn't own it.

Yes, and yes. UL does not own it, so the city is doing it. Construction is slated to start very soon, but the major portion will be done from May-Oct next year, and it will be closed during time.

UL needs to make a commitment to basketball like they have to football and baseball. There is too much talent in basketball around the south for them to continue to be middle of the road. I know they made the tourny last year and had a guy drafted in round 1, but they are consistently middle of the road.

That's impressive. They even added a home game crowd to the CGI.
