This is something that has really gotten out of control. Every website these days contains those clickbait articles with headlines that are riddled with vague pronouns. People on Facebook post these a lot as well. Those who are on it know the type, "He shared his lunch with a homeless man, what happens next SHOCKED me."

Example:

I know that a lot of these are targeted towards those who may not know any better and would be more inclined to click, but for some reason they just piss me off. Look at this screenshot from the Weather Channel website earlier. They are horrible about this.

I guess if this is the worst thing I have to complain about, then things are okay. Tell me I am not the only one who notices this. Me and some coworkers send the most cringeworthy ones to each other in a group text to piss each other off.

Weather channel's site really pisses me off these days. Used to be my go-to for checking the forecast but it's become so overburdened with style and BS like what you posted, that I don't like using it anymore

It's terrible. They need to overhaul their website, and make it simpler and cleaner like their app.

It's just a picture of corn that someone photoshopped a green shade on it.

I think instead of "vague pronouns" you meant "hyperbolic modifiers."

And to be fair, I think that corn can actually come with that green shite coating it. It's pesticide or fertilizer or something.

Fair. And I agree, TWC website is unbearable. Just wait until Hurricane Season. "THE NEXT MONSTER STORM IN THE MAKING?!" (insignificant blob of rain in the middle of the Atlantic.)
