You think Northern Iowa loses game 1?

really? i didn't see a solid win on their schedule. wyoming looks more impressive on paper in my opinion

UNI to the elite 8. Not their fault the Valley is down this year outside of them and Wichita State. I've watched a bunch of their games this year and they're good. Seth Tuttle is an NBA big man.

And they may have lost to Wichita State by 14 but they beat them by 18 two weeks before that. Both teams are legit, both have big time home court advantages, and both teams won at home.

I think that it should be a great game. Wyoming came down to Fort Collins and handled a decent CSU team. Wyoming struggled in games without Larry Nance Jr. but he is back now. Wyoming knows how to slow down a game and can be very efficient on offense. I think this game is a toss up.

UNI and Wyoming are going to be in a slow-it-down game. They both rank near the bottom nationally in possessions/game. I just think UNI is a much stronger version of Wyoming in that they are an efficient scoring team (No. 15 per Pomeroy) with a pretty stingy defense (No. 17 per Pomeroy). Also, it helps that Ben Jacobson has one of the best players in the country at his disposal.

I don't have UNI going as far as some, but I'm pretty comfortable with them in the Round of 64.

Well they won at SFA and they lost at VCU in double overtime(when they were at full strength). You won't see many teams signing up for those road games. The fact they won at SFA is extremely impressive to me at least. They also beat Iowa on a neutral floor, plus Richmond and WSU at home.

Wyoming is a tough match up for them though, both teams love to slow it down. Could easily turn into a rock fight, where the first team to 55 wins.

Northern Iowa is a good team. They play like experienced, veteran basketball players. Wyoming won't beat them.
