What will they do with the current DC coach Parker who has been a fixture there for the past decade and produced some strong defensive units
Don't see Parker leaving, but coaching a position on the Defensive Side of the Ball might be more in line with what he wants to do. Don't see Laborde sticking around to be on Sid's Staff. Possible he could be a get back coach or part of the chain crew if he really wanted to stay.

Eat at Court Street Cafe .... The own knows it all and will tell you that ....
Sid is coming and bring several with him, he is working out a deal that will put Blanchard at the middle school and Blanchard to stay and coach with Sid again. Yes they are going to make Sid the AD.

Why would Blanchard go to the middle school? He is keeping his same job as a health teacher

A lot of teachers in WBR dual teach at middle and high schools.

I don't think Blanchard is going to coach again at PAHS. I realize that Sid is a close friend but Blanchard is apparently very intent on being a stay at home Dad for the time being. This comes directly from Robin Fambrough. Laborde is supposedly in the running for the AC and CHSPC Job and has apparently told administration that he is not happy that his push to be the next HC at PAHS is not being taken seriously. Rumor has it that Sid has been in contact with Aaron Vice about being his OC at Port Allen.

From my understanding Laborde never had playcalling duties at PAHS they wont miss him that much

Blanchard was calling every play. Everything from practice to the games. Fouquier was never OC he was the WR coach

Listed on the Port Allen Football Website is Josh Laborde OC for PAHS Football. I am simply reporting what I hear from circles around here. You seem to know more than me about the program. Your profile says you live in Houston and I am aware that Coach Laborde has a brother in that Area. Could this be big brother taking up for little brother? You never seem to have anything negative to say about Laborde. Is he responsible for the 60pts put up against RHS or the 13 points against Amite.

I live west of the mississippi & I go to the games as a spectator and everyone in the stands had the same thing to say. Talented team with potential all over the field but Guy Blanchard has been holding the program back for YEARS! Some sad to see him go some are GLAD to see him go .

Nice Comment Jermey Laborde. I guess you know someone who could have done better?

Blanchard was average at best, organized talent but never got them to the next level. What did he do with all the talent? The team is loaded with talent returning next year, will be good to see someone who can coach do better then 5-5 with all that talent.

This is a quote from somebody on Blanchard's staff, "Laborde or whoever" Blanchard never did anything with talent, and now his staff ripping him, easy to see why he resigned !!!!
