My theory:
Due to lack of depth, the Tigers had 4 players who logged the most minutes/ game in the SEC. Fatigue can not only rob you of your athleticism, but your mental abilities as well. Sloppy play and brain dead decisions that were bewildering, seemed especially bad at the end of games.

This effect was realized more against below average teams. When they were expected to win, they assumed someone would make a play and we would win. Against better teams, adrenalin helped to carry them through this effect, which resulted in a victory, or a near miss.

Because we will be playing against higher seeded teams in the Tourney, I think that we will see the "adrenalinized" team perform well.

I like that theory. Anything to give me more confidence.

I guess whoever is ahead with 3 minutes to go will win.
