NFL Salaray Cap: Changes that should be made

I agree there should be a salary cap to prevent a team from becoming like the Yankees or Red Sox and just buying up all of the free agent all stars from other teams...but...I think it hurts the NFL when teams have to let go of players they drafted, that performed well, that they still want on the team, that the fans love and root for, after 4 years.
I could see implementing a cap on Free Agent Signings, but I miss the old days of being able to build a team that the fans can get used to and identify with. Now that is impossible by rule.

Yeah, seeing Suh, DeMarco, and Jimmy Graham all go got me thinking they need some type of Bird rights thing.

I liked it when you had rivalries and you could hate a team that had basically the same lineup each year for 6 or 8 years and know you would play them every year.
