The Weekend Tiger Softball Arrived in Baton Rouge

What a great weekend for the Lady Tigers! The Lady Tiger softball team will surely be ranked #1 in the nation when the polls come out today. I think this 2015 softball season may become the greatest single season in LSU athletics history. Not any other program at LSU can currently lay claim to being the unanimous #1 team in the country.

I don't know, but if it was on page 9 the Advocate is seriously underestimating the softball team.

Well, the softball team plays Oklahoma this coming weekend. As we all know OU defeated our gymnastics team this year. So ipso facto logic dictates if the softball teams takes OU out then its unquestionably the greatest team in LSU athletic history. I don't know how an alternative conclusion can be reached.

The "greatest team in LSU athletic history". Really? After one wk of the SEC season? I seem to recall the 2013 football team being called one of the best in college football history...till it lost in the NC game. Not a knock at all. But do be realistic, it's way too early yet.

... I WILL say this .... Bianka Bell's 13 - 15 at bat . for 867 BA for 3 game series just might be greatest in softball history , esp when considering was against #1 ranked team at the time with nation leading 0.076 era pitching staff ...
