2 angles of the incident as well.

Why go when you see people watching the train go by?
Darwinism I guess

Im going to assume they didn't realize that a train was coming or that people were watching a train coming...for whatever reason.

Totally expected the vehicle to come from the opposite direction. Driver certainly wasn't paying attention.

It seems a little odd two people were there filming an ordinary train.

There are a lot of train freaks out there who like to video trains. "Train-watching" or something like that?

You are correct, I just read an article that said one of the individuals that filmed the accident used to be a conductor and goes out there all the time to watch the trains.

They had to have been trying to beat the train because they were going REALLY fast on a small road where there were obviously people standing pretty close by.

The guy filming on the back side of the road is lucky the train hit the car square bc had the car been a split second later it would've been knocked right into him.

They call them foamers..see them all the time recording us working..certain types of engines or types of cargo fascinate them..they post them on YouTube and forums for other foamers..just a coincidence to catch that accident..

When I was training to be an engineer and would see them,I would look online and find the video a few days later and show my kids the train I was running..they thought that was cool that I was in the internet..
