just some updated FYI if you put in that code before it expires on the 21st. even if you dont want to play or download now it will give you like a 15% discount on the backer packages. knocks it down to like $36 which is a steal.

no sleep for me tonight. going to fly my arse off and earn currency to rent new equipment :)
FWIW the currency you earn in arena commander can also be saved and used to rent weapons in the FPS when Star Marine launches next month.

Really perfect choice to score that vid. The vid looks great but the game looks like it will be TREMENDOUSLY time consuming.
Got sucked into the MMORPG world once before and I wasn't seen for 4 years.
Never again.
Concept looks great but I wonder if the execution will really live up to the expectations from the vid.

That's the main reason they are allowing monthly purchases of in game currency, based off how much you should have/could have earned if you had played as much as super nerds like myself. I dont know all the details but you will likely have to be under a certain # of hours played to qualify. Its a really good way to keep the weekend gamers up to pace with the rest of the universe and keep RSI happy with steady income, which they can pour back into more DLC and features since the game is completely crowdfunded and they don't have to split any profits

Also, if you want you can follow DecoyDrone on twitch. he's our game leader for SC over at ADK and streams a few times a week. just do the email notifications, hes really good about watching when new viewers show up and talking to them.
