LSU alum chapter in Phoenix kinda sucks. I would go to events and be the youngest there. Even though I'm not alum, I was active with them for a couple years, cause it was a great way to hang out with other LSU fans. Few years ago they were really active, now not so much.

Yeah they only really get together for football games now

They used to go that gumbo cook off thing and the crawfish boil.....both fun events. Sad they no longer do either.

They are looking for new leadership. Ms Fox (the president) is moving. Should some of us TD posters take over the chapter ?

To the OP. There is a place called ventura grill in scottsdale that they would get together to watch football games.Don't know about other sports.

She's moving? She's been the president for a few years. I like her and all(super nice and classy lady)...I just don't think we have a very active bunch. People have too many other responsibilities to take on those needed to run that chapter.

thanks for your reply and to nurse for her reply

At this point I'd settle for a bar with a few other alumni in a central location. It sounds like the recent alumni activity has been limited to Scottsdale residents because their meetings are so far in NE Scottsdale that relatively few people from most of the Phoenix area can reasonably commute.

Even pairing up with other SEC fans would be fine with me overall.
