I have some backstrap that I was thinking of BBQ'ing Saturday. Any good recipes?

Should I just crackpot it?

I would keep it whole. Add salt and pepper and a little olive oil. Roll the strap around a few times on a HOT grill until medium rare. Let it rest a few minutes then slice and serve with mashed taters or your veggies of choice.

Keep it whole and sear it over a hot flame about 4 minutes per side. Remove from heat and let settle at room temp, then slice to desired thickness.

This is one I did a few weeks ago.

Dern, that looks good. I bet that would go good with a horse radish sauce.

I like to butterfly, fill with cream cheese and jalepenos or spinach, wrap in bacon, put on grill. When bacon is done, meat is done.

Rub with oil or something. Cook lightly. If you go to long or too hot it's going to turn into leather.

Yep. Keep poking it with your finger. You want it more rare than cooked. You wait too long you've committed a sin.
