No player is "off limits"? Really?

I mean...no one on this roster outside of maybe brees is untouchable, and even he is at the end of his chain. Not that farfetched

Meaning the Saints would entertain Brees talk, obviously.

You know, this basically seems like Loomis is saying that the Saints are crap and we'll consider getting rid of anybody just to try to improve this disaster that Payton and I have put together.

If you don't have a core of players to build around that management/coaches believe in, you don't have anything and they are just throwing darts at the wall while blindfolded.

REALLY disappointing, if true. Sounds like there is no vision for the future at all.

Very shitty of Schneider to openly talk about negotiations like that.

the context, according to someone on TV the other night, started with the Saints asking about Unger. Then SEA GM asked if anyone was off limits. Eventually came to Jimmy Graham

With brees the saints have a puncher's chance. Without him the Saints are screwed for years to come.

I like it. Finally some life, compared to last year.

I'm sure the front office will be totally PC when training camp starts.

Bad business. Players won't play for teams that throw their players under the bus to the media.

He was talking to the Seattle GM. Do you really think that Loomis figured that they would have inquired about Brees? Were they going to go with a dual QB backfield?

Figure of speech dude... There's no reason to chase Unger if you're giving up Brees.

If that is how you took it, sure. Why would the Saints GM not want to hear any offer?

Wait, so we're trying to trade for a great center, yet have no vision for the future? You're an idiot.

From his next tweet

quote:

You indicating drew Brees available? … Doubt it. But his cap numbers next 2 yrs are awful: $26.4m this yr, $27.4m next.

The o-line is one of the few spots that has improved this week.

IF it means that EVERY single Saints player is on the trading block - IF that is true, then where is the core that we are building around??? What do all of these moves mean?

IF it doesn't mean that and that IS NOT what Loomis meant, then scratch what I said.

I tried to qualify. Reading comprehension here is crap.

I never thought that the Saints didn't have a plan or that they were wanting to trade Brees before. Then, I see this quote and say "IF ..."

IF the Saints are trying to unload everyone and everyone is on the table, then we are in full rebuild mode and no, I don't think they have a solid plan. But, you are saying that that is NOT what the quote means (even though those are the words used). Fine, I hope you're right.

Chill.

They are fixing the line. Our tackles are just fine. Center was horrendous, along with the guard play. We have a new center, that alone improved the line. Grubbs is now gone.
