Semi finals today
LA Tech has to face UAB in Birmingham thanks to Conference USA's flawed arse system.
Whoever wins this game will go on to win the conference tournament.
Unfortunately, it is going to be really really tough to beat UAB at home.

We have to play better than we played against Rice. UAB scares the shite out of me. And it's complete bullshite we have to play UAB at home.

This UAB game is going to be tough. They have already blown us out at home & now we have to play them at home in the tournament. We will be lucky to win today. Let's see what happens.

Conveniently, students from Conference USA schools get in free to tonight and tomorrow's game. The conference made that announcement this morning. Ruston is 6 hours away. It's obviously just a ploy so UAB can bring all of their students. It would have been one thing for one of their alumni to buy a lot of tickets to give to students but this announcement the morning of the semi finals is horseshite.
This tournament is a fricking travesty. Tech has everything possible going against them tonight and they are the #1 seed. It is a damn shame.

Whatever the rules are, they were established long before anyone knew who would be in what place. Sometimes things just happen.....it's called life. And good teams and their fans know how deal with it.....without moaning and whining about it all the time.
