Bizarre story about downed helicopter

I was talking to a buddy of mine from Bay St Louis in Mississippi yesterday about noon on a cell phone when all the sudden he goes "What the hell?" phone went out for a few seconds.
He came back laughing and I ask what happened. He said "this big black military helicopter flew right over my head. It seemed like only a 100 feet or so. I have never seen one fly that low before. Scared the hell out of me."
Then the sad news story last night. We were asking how did everyone die, and why couldn't it attempt to land it or something but obviously the were doing some kind of low altitude flying yesterday.
Maybe someone on here knows about this.

For being surprised at a massive helicopter flying right over his head. I think he was at PCYC when this happened off the beach.

I've got family in PC and low flying military aircraft are a constant. Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy/Marines and Army Aviation helos and planes are frequently flying over the beach or just offshore. Quality entertainment!
