Ordered a barbacoa torta. Basically a BBQ beef (brisket) sandwich which is loaded with lettuce, tomatoe, avocado slices, a tad sour cream and jalapeños.

The sandwich is about the size of a 12 inch subway sandwich. But much cheaper at 4.95. It's been years since I've eaten at the taqueria on siegen but I think that one may be owned by a different famy now? The name is different.

The meat was tender and the bread was slightly toasted and buttered. Incredible sandwich. Will try some lengua tacos next time.

If you are ever close by I recommend it.

Thanks for being more specific.

I sincerely mean that. I really assumed because its texture taste was similar. I learned something new. Thanks bud

My son takes karate next door

I'm actually sitting in his class right now

That sounds so tempting right now but the wife is home making dinner. May try it next week. I've eaten a burrito from there a few times, never had the torta

I don't know if it's cheek meat. I know that's what it is supposed to be customarily, but I think a lot of places use brisket instead.

I gotcha. I know where it is now. By the library. That was an empty new strip center for a bit then they came in. Good to know.

Yeah there's a bakery and store there all owned by the same family. There's also a jujitsu and judo place and I think a church
