The lights out and lack of 4 way stop knowledge killed my commute

Glad I'm from a small town. They should do a refresher on that with every license renewal.

I love how rain suddenly makes everyone want to ride in the right lane on 110, making it dangerous as frick for cars to accelerate and merge from the on ramp. Get out of the right lane assholes!

Light was out on Airline at Mercedes dealership around 7:45 and Coursey was really backed up heading to Airline/Bluebonnet for some reason.

It was more than a little bit of rain but I get your point. Rain does not mean slow down to 45 on I10 and drive with your hazards on. If you are scared to drive in rain stay of the God damn road.

So they're driving slower because it's raining? Well frick THEM.

But yeah I get it. And people tend to hit their brakes a lot more, which is more dangerous. Just go a little slower and leave more space between you and the car in front of you. Slamming on your brakes every 5 seconds in the rain is what causes skidding/hydroplaning.

I did a u-turn on Tiger Bend this morning when I saw how backed up it was heading to the split. I just moseyed along the back way on Antioch and then through Old Jefferson to Barringer. I was late for work, but I was relaxed and enjoyed my travels.

The center and left lanes are blocked on I-10 West at the Mississippi River Bridge due to an incident. Congestion has reached the 10/110.

lack of 4 way stop knowledge

THIS X1000!!!

I continue to be fricking amazed at how people don't understand the concept of a 4 way stop for a light that is out. Ten cars will get it right and then the next three or four cars (who have been waiting and obviously have seen how it works) will just all go as a pack. It's like they are saying "Screw the rules, I have waited long enough."

And then there is the apparently difficult concept of red and yellow flashing lights. How damn hard can it be? Red light means STOP you dumb fricks. Yellow light means DON'T frickING STOP and wave at the people at the red light to go. frick!!!!

Whew! I feel better. Thanks for making this thread.
