Just how long is the leash on AJ if he is named the starter this year?...I gotta think it's fairly short but hell, I felt like he could've got yanked all season long.

I doubt it; the coaches have to want Harris to win it. CCC especially. CCC is in his final year, and his extension probably depends on this seasons QB play. For who some call "tEH GOAT of qb COAHcs", he shite the bed last year. Les is a family man, he wants one more chance for glory before he retires, no way he is just complacently going to give it to anyone.

I would say that the "leash" on AJ depends totally on how much both he and Harris have progressed...if/when it becomes apparent to the coaching staff that Harris gives us a better chance to win, that change will be made...

There is no leash on AJ.
He is Mile's guy and that's it.
Hopefully he has improved enough where we will forget about the AJ-BH debate. Otherwise it will be a long and frustrating year, because barring injury, BH will likely play LESS than he did last year.

Never seen so many negative douchebags here.
Every team that starts a new QB has the chance of what we had last year.
We have hope coming to LSU.
Better coaching on the lines means more time to read progressions and better chance of routes being completed.
And then there's Franks.

I'd give it til the middle of the Miss St game, and that's only if he even gets the start. Can't go into Auburn game looking lost. They get Carl Lawson back, they brought in the #1 SDE, bring back both starting OLBs, and just got Muschamp. shite could get really bad if we don't have an answer at QB by then. The first two games are perfect auditions.
