Can't remember the last time LSU basketball had a more improbable win

Winning on the road without Mickey against #18 Arkansas in a much needed game.

I actually thought about not watching this one as Ive been let down on too many occasions. With Mickey out, I didn't give the team much of a chance. Glad they proved me wrong. Hell of a win!

Derrick Tayor's half court shot against Auburn in 1984 I think.

I thought for sure we had run out of gas when Arkansas took the late lead. This team brought the consistency and tenacity today.

The same here. I recorded it and was watching it with 45 minutes delay. I decided to watch the rest only if they win and they did.

This team is schizoid and makes me paranoid.

The only thing that makes it improbable is Mickey's absense. Otherwise, Ark was the perfect matchup for LSU. The tempo means that LSU doesn't have to be sound on offense, just more athletic. The less you force LSU to execute in the halfcourt, the worse off you are. Anderson went to the zone WAY too late.

Yea, it is just shocking to me that we came off that bad loss and responded this way on the road in a hostile environment.
