Sixteen out of the 20 clubs in Serie A voted in favour of Parma being granted the emergency funding to keep them playing until the end of May.

Cesena, sitting one place above Parma, were the only club in the league to vote against with three clubs abstaining from voting at all.

However the club do not currently have enough funding to even provide hot showers for the players post match.

Additionally, players of the club have spoken out saying that they will pay for their own transport to and from games if necessary.

Interesting. What happens with the team after the season?

Probably bankruptcy and relegated to the fourth division.

However, I suppose the extra time means there's some chance of another potential owner "saving" the situation. However, they are in 20th place with little hope of staying up regardless of finances this season and with the current financial mess I would guess that the better "deal" in buying the club would come after bankruptcy.

I think part of it too is just being nice and allowing them to finish the season before being put out to pasture. Also allows all their games with other teams that were postponed to now be played, so it will keep the league bringing in a bit more matchday revenue and not give some teams a "free win".

Yeah, I think the things you mention are much more the reasons than the small little chance they avoid bankruptcy.

The decisions/controversy about the league table and the SKY TV contract probably tipping the scale.

Parma have really been in trouble since the Parmalat company had all their legal difficulties ten years ago.
They're a well known Italian side but not really one of the larger ones aside from the 1990-2004 period when Parmalat poured in tons of money.

I'm a little disappointed to see the Inter-Parma game on April 4 may now be played though. I was looking at tickets but figured the game was off and so I booked my trip to Venice that weekend instead.

Serie A didn't do it for Cesena a few years back either though the owner eventually managed which explains why they're the nay vote.

Id ask to cancel your order and get your money back

shady as frick

buying from ticket tout sites is like giving your money away.

They don't have the tickets, you pay them to try and find the tickets.

The sites that say they will deliver to your hotel are super shady. Sometimes its legit sometimes its not and you will get a ticket, get a fake ticket or nothing will come at all.

Only uses official secondary market sites like viagogo.

Shite motherfricker I think its to late

the reviews I read said that they got there tickets but some complained that they were different tickets than what they paid for, and usually cheaper tickets so they didn't get there moneys worth. Ill be okay if the tickets are worth less than what I paid because I really just want to be at the game, but if I don't get real tickets im gonna be fricking pissed
