Just finished Tomb Raider, first one I have played in the series

Are they all this intense?
I mean it got my heart rate up. . .alot.
Granted, I mainly messed with the main story. Only did six or seven tombs.
Damn that was fast-paced and satisfying.

I found the older ones more puzzle based...But i mean im talking tomb raider one and two on the PS. Its been years but it seems as if they made the newer one more action packed for sure and story driven.

I just finished it the other night. Sounds like we had the same experience 
The earlier ones weren't nearly as cinematic and action based from what I remember. This game was definitely building on what Uncharted started, but IMO, did it a LOT better.

I really enjoyed the new one. I was a big fan of the Uncharted series, so this was right up my alley. I just hope the next in the series has more tombs, and actual exploration.

The old Tomb Raiders were nothing like this and they shrunk Lora's tits.
Really fun game though. Even if the ending is stupid.

I like the old Tomb Raider. Better puzzles, no mindless shooting galleries and Lora was a badass. New Tomb Raider is a mix of Uncharted with Ubi padding, a fun game but no longer Tomb Raider. Also they should just give up with multiplayer they suck at it.

I feel the same. It was still a fun game but it has none of the lasting appeal of the older ones. It's really only TR in name. The extreme lack of puzzle platforming in favor of repetitive shootouts was disappointing.
It really just felt like I was playing Uncharted Light. Since Uncharted is like TR Light, I guess the newest TR is like playing a Michelob Ultra version of TR.

how does tomb raider compare to uncharted 2 or uncharted 3 overall ?

Not as good as the second but I hear it's better than the third. Never played Uncharted 3.

I don't get the love for uncharted 2. It is easily the worst of the series. It never fricking ended.
