Tonight is a night you're really frustrated if you don't live in the Atlanta or Cleveland areas or own League Pass. The nation is stuck with Phoenix @ Brooklyn, while I'll be watching the Cavs-Hawks game.

Other games of interest:

Mia @ Wsh (Can Washington finally play decent basketball?)
Det @ Hou (Josh Smith vs. his old team, Detroit actually playing decent basketball)
Bos @ NO (Both teams making strong playoff pushes)

Hawks the underdogs at home against the Cavs (-1.5). I think that's about right though.

Do we get to nominate you in the homer thread for talking about the Hawks in the OP of the NBA thread?

This will be fun. Atlanta's first glimpse of the new look Cavs. Hopefully Lebron doesn't take another cheap shot tonight like the one he took from Harden or when he got tackled on Wednesday. Next time it happens hopefully we find out why they signed Perkins.

Not really.

But I remember what Josh Smith's return to the Palace was like.

You could. It wouldn't make that much sense though considering I'm a Mavs fan first and foremost and all I did was mention the most intriguing game in the NBA by far. If I would have brought up the Mavs-Blazers game last night you definitely could have called me one. I didn't. Feel free to do with that what you want.

Important to note that it's a legends birthday today. Shaq Diesel turns 43 today.

Its amazing how much I used to dislike Shaq as a player. Now, as a TV guy, I find him absolutely hilarious.

When he does his countdowns on NBATV, and Vince Cellini starts dancing always leaves me
